I do not see the conflict. Gideon died in June 1860. So Alex would have then only his mother Eliza/Elizabeth in 1870. Gideon is with his family in Pulsaki in 1860 he died a month or so later. The census taker plainly stated that Gideon was born in Washington Co GA. My number 770-943-4677
