Amos Brantley,born 1758 NC, father, William Brantley born <1733>. receives a Land Grant at age of <28>, 4 August 1761, 520 acres in Edgecombe County, NC, joining Words run and Richard Gay. William Brantley sells said land after ownership of little over 4 years to Jacob Dunn, Dec 21,1765. What happens to William Brantley after 1765?
